If you are using a college-supplied device you need to access Zoom via the Software Hub. If an individual external to Imperial College needs to host an authenticated Zoom meeting or webinar, you will need to provide them with a guest account. If the Zoom meeting is set up not to require authentication via Single Sign On SSO , the external individual can join the meeting and be made a 'Co-Host' without the need for a guest account.
To make a participant in a Zoom meeting please follow the instructions below once you have started the meeting:. You do not need to set up a guest account if the participant is viewing the meeting only.

Meeting sessions can be recorded for viewing at a later time. This feature allows instructors to create useful study materials and share meeting content with students who could not attend the live session.
Recordings are stored on locally on the as designated by the meeting host. These recording can then be uploaded to and reused in systems such as YouTube, OneDrive or Linked within your Canvas course. Regular training sessions are conducted weekly to familiarize Zoom meeting hosts and attendees with emphasis on best practices. These training sessions are hosted by Zoom and are held online via Zoom Webinar Meeting. You are welcome to register for any live session or view the recording of a previous session.
